Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

February Update

Hi all,

Not much to report this month really. Been busy socialising - starting playing Pathfinder with a group of friends so that has been taking up most of my weekends and hunting for a job taking my most of my weekdays. As a result of this the majority of my cosplay making has been on hold unfortunatly.

Though my big plan for next month is to take one of my new cosplays on a video/photoshoot. Since I have only a small selection here with me I would like to ask which cosplay would you rather see me film/photo. They will all be clean shoots - showcasing the costume regardless of what their from

Other then that this month hasn't been very eventful. I have ordered fabric for version 2 of the plugsuit and I also have been working on a TF2 Heavy commission for a friend but that's it really. Mantis is on hold for the moment mainly because lack of funds and been planning my trip to Japan in April - all my funds are going towards that

Hun, you're going to need an empty shipping crate XD. I had to practically sit on my suitcase to get it closed when i went to Tokyo and Osaka and all I bought was clothes! (Then again, it was fukubukuro time!)
