Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Delayed January Update

I hope everyone had a brilliant christmas and new year and haven't been too poor from it this year. I know I've been mega slow on the update for this month but for the most part of it was doing a tour of the East Coast of Australia. It was amazing saw so many brilliant things and had quite the adventure which ended in my friend writing off his car (everyone involved was absolutly fine) and then having to figure out how to cover 550km in a day and half with a cars worth of luggage and no regular public transport and a budget of $150. All in all we managed it and it was an adventure and even though that part of the trip was a disaster it did turn into something brilliant.

So onto cosplays. Now we are into 2013 and I knew that I would be doing a UK con this year and so have decided to attend Ayacon in August. I just need to book my flight and pay for registration. I have a lose plan of the cosplays but I have a few spaces so either I will pick something new or try and finish things that have been on my in progress list for a while. Plans are shaping up as:

Anytime Day or Night: Sherry Birkin (China) - RE6
Anytime Day or Night: Reika Kitmai - Bible Black
Masquerade: Screaming Mantis Beast Suit and also working on Old Snake for my friend

Sunday Night: Ran Mouri (Desperate Revival Saga) - Detective Conan

So I still have two slots with no outfits. I would be tempted doing a Puella Magica Madoka group if the girls are up for it or maybe Lirael to go with

Sabriel. I could also bring my Asuka Plugsuit as that was a lot of fun to wear and gives me an excuse to buy a new wig

Or finally I might just do beauty suit for Screaming Mantis. I did also consider doing a massive X group with all the dragons of Earth and the Dragons of Heaven as that could be fun.
