How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

December Update

Hi All and a very Merry Christmas to you all. I am very slow on updates for this month and I completely missed the update last month :S

So last month was Brisbane Supanova and I had a really amazing time. As usual I got minimal sleep in the run up to the event but it was worth it as I finished my Plugsuit and Hana Cosplays. I also captured some video at the event but due to my aweful ability to capture cosplayers I have not uploaded it. I will probably tweak it some more though and hopefully be able to produce something salvagble but I was quite shy at asking for video so ended up with a lot less video then I'd hoped for

Then this month I went to the screening of the two new Madoka Movies so made a last min Mami cosplay with a charlotte hat and plushie. Unfortunatly there is only on photo and it's quite low quality because it was from FB so won't be uploading here till I get some nicer pictures.

So what else is going on in the world of cosplay for me well I have decided on a few more outfits that I really want to make. I was requested to make Sherry Birkin from Resi 6 to join my friends group so I've started to get to work on that. A nice straight forward cosplay. I am also hoping to cosplay Penny from Dr Horrible's sing-a-long blong so that A. it's a nice easy precon cosplay and B. I have an excuse to break into song when I feel like it

I'm also planning to join

Bible Black group so that'll be a lot of fun. I'm hoping to make Reika Kitami's outfit as it's been on my to do list since I cosplayed Mika Itou so a long time XD but if I don't get her done in time I will switch out to another character that wears the school uniform and just get a wig

These are the main cosplays I'm working on atm. Hopefuly with have a version two of the plugsuit soon but we will see. Depends on time mainly.
